Allow me to share with you just a bit about who we are and why you should give CMI strong consideration. CMI is located in the Riverside County city of Perris and is part of the amazing Perris Union High School District. We are a college preparatory school for students who want to get more out of their educational experience, are not afraid to work hard and challenge themselves. We have very small class sizes allowing our teachers to get to know your child on a personal basis and tailor instruction according to your child’s needs. Our teachers are the most caring most knowledgeable most dynamic and most passionate educators you could ever hope for. They are passionate about teaching but most importantly they are passionate about creating meaningful relationships with their students and mentoring them to become not just ready for college, career or military but also leaders and productive citizens. We have a 100% graduation rate and some of the highest Mathematics and English proficiency rates in the county. Our school offers Athletics, AP Courses, AVID, Engineering and Robotics, Biomedical Sciences and students take College Courses for Credit. After graduation our students attend colleges such as UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Berkeley, UC Davis and many other fine institutions. Many of our students also attend local colleges and pursue careers or sign up for the military. But what sets CMI apart from other schools in the area? While our instruction and safe and caring culture is remarkable it is our emphasis on excellence in leadership, character building and service in the community that sets us apart from the rest. We believe that a well-rounded individual is not someone who is excellent in academics only, but also someone who is a responsible, ethical, moral citizen, a leader in his or her community imbued with a spirit of service. We achieve this by applying the structure and principles of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. Our cadets wear uniforms, pay close attention to their grooming and receive training in leadership, decision making and military science. All cadets are expected to follow the core values of: Service, Integrity and Respect (SIR). They are also expected to follow the Cadet Honor Code which consists of 10 values held dear by the California Cadet Corps and they are: Loyalty, Education, Ambition, Duty, Enthusiasm, Respect, Service, Healthy, Integrity, Personal Courage.
